Insurance Company Description: HBF, launched in April 1941, known at that time by the name of Metropolitan Hospital Benefit Fund, is one of Western Australia’s most trusted insurance organizations with a target to lead the wellbeing of all Western Australian’s health and assets. Members will be able to receive benefits from a variety of insurances if they decide to join.

Pros: A lot of members were particularly impressed by the great and easy customer service while signing up for the first time. The staffs were nice, polite and had a great passion to serve. Quotes can be easily given to you on the spot, as well as the option to sign up.

Claims are easy to make once your vehicle or property has been damaged. Many have reported that after booking for a car assessment for the damage, they were able to be allocated a local repairer without being charged any hidden fees. The repair was done fast and the customer was able to be returned onto the road within a week.

Overall: HBF is an insurance company that only operates in the state of Western Australia. It is a decent and small insurer if compared to the more popular companies around Australia. Claims do get sent but there are no guarantees. The price for a policy can be a bit high, but at the end, you get what you pay for.

In order to get the most out of your insurance, before you sign up to become a member, make sure you have read all the Terms and Conditions, Policies and fine prints. Take notes on the way words are used within their contexts, as well as the special jargons and terminologies.
