Insurance Company Description: AAMI is an Australian insurance company that specialises in covering cars, homes, compulsory third party (CTP) and small businesses. It is an insurance brand of Suncorp-Metway Limited. Founded in 1970, AAMI serves more than 2.5 million customers and handle millions of incoming telephone calls a year.

Pros: AAMI has spent a large budget on marketing and advertising. Not only have they created a pleasing image of themselves, their prices for their services and premiums are also great, cheaper than many others. If damages are done to your car or house, and is approved, the money comes fast to you in great ease.
Setting up your premium and policy is simple through the phone, online website forms or in their local branches. Payments can be paid half yearly, or yearly, which is good for people that can't afford an upfront fee straight away.
Overall: AAMI insurance is a big company and would be impossible for them to pay for every claim and repair every damage. With the length of the company's life and number of complains, it is pretty decent. Only a handful ever goes through a nightmare, and smaller amounts have that nightmare turn into a reality.
Always remember to go through all the texts they give you and ask for advice if you don't understand anything. Hiring a lawyer to help you interpret uncommon terminologies may be wise too.

Overall: So, I ensured my car in this AAMI insurance but I was really disappointed when after experiencing a car accident, staffs are so uncooperative. They\'re terrible! I regret insuring my car in AAMI!

Overall: AAMI has gotta be one of my and my family\'s favourite insurer! I have been with them for MANY MANY years now and everytime i need to make a claim, they would even provide me with the cab price so I could get hoem safely. Hoenstly, there is nothing like AAMI so far. I recommend them to everyone.

Cons: I had my car damaged and it took AAMI more than a week to get my car back in shape! This had really made me give up some of my hopes on them.
Overall: A while back I was invovled in an accident but a small one. AAMI glady approved my claim but when it came to reparing, god, i was so frustrated! It took more than two weeks, and during that time i recieved no updates from them unless i called but was always given the same answer that they were working on it.

Pros: Speeding claims, friendly staffs to talk to when my car got damaged ina horrible car accident.
Cons: Of course there is always room for improvement, but not AAMI!
Overall: AAMI insurance was the chosen company me and my wife chose when we first bought our car. Before of its big presence in Australia, we knew it was a brand that we could trust.
When I was cuaght in a traffic collision and lost a door, it was when i saw the full glory of AAMI! They immeidalty called their assessors to see the damages and even paid a taxi to get me home! After that, everything was done accordingly.
